Voice Actor
Nica Rojo is a voice actor and automated replacement dialogue writer by profession since 2007. She pursued her craft by auditioning in international titles to be dubbed locally and successfully coveting numerous roles such as Nickelodeon’s Spongebob Squarepants’ Sandy Cheeks, Mrs. Puff and Pearl; Dora the Explorer’s Boots the Monkey and Ni Hao Kai Lan’s Kai Lan, Powerpuff Girls’ Buttercup and Dexter’s Laboratory’s Dexter; Disney’s Handy Manny’s Stretch; and Hiromu Arakawa’s hit shonen manga turned animation, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood's Edward Elric.
Traveller
Nica travels to Japan on a regular basis because of its delicacies, its people and its culture. Bringing only a backpack, a passport and her camera, she wanders across Japan taking in its most breath-taking scenery and tasting its most diverse flavors.
Fond of food, film and photography, she takes photos of every fascinating visual she sees and shares it on her Facebook and Instagram. It’s her little way sharing the wonderful sights and sounds in the land of the rising sun.
Endurance Athlete
Open water swimmer, marathon runner and occasional triathlete, Nica is all about the grit. As a competitive age-grouper, she thrives under extreme environments over long periods of time. To her, life isn’t a sprint, it’s a long distance race that requires you to give it your absolute best everytime.
She’s also a member of Stiff Ring Multisports, a group of intrepid individuals from different walks of life who have a passion for endurance events. As her multisport team’s resident Genki Girl, she cheers for her teammates both in races and in real life.
